| God calls us to reach out to a world that’s hurting. In 2009, we began a partnership with Nothing but Nets, a charity sponsored by the United Nations Foundation and supported by the United Methodist Church. Malaria has a devastating impact on Upward-age children in Arfrica and Asia. Ten dollars buys an insecticide treated bed net to protect children and their families from the mosquitoes that cause malaria. Over the past three seasons, we have raised over to $10,000 for Nothing but Nets as well as an additional $2,000 raised for earthquake and tsunami relief. This year we are pleased to introduce the newest addition to our ourtreach campaign, the Uganda Youth Soccer Academy–a ministry for orphans and underprivileged children in a malaria stricken region of Uganda.
